Statistics shows that about 40% of clinics’ patients - are new, and 35% -40% of the patients of private offices and clinics do not live near of them.

More and more Ukrainians lost faith in free medicine and prefer private health institutions, whose number is steadily growing.

Studies have shown that patients are looking for a doctor who would help him, but not the brand of clinic more often. 

With the growth of competition private clinics have begun to shift the focus from the advertising campaign of promotion the name (brand) of the clinic on the promotion of its main asset - the doctor or the hospital staff physicians. This is evidenced by the growing number of websites that provide information about doctors, increasing of the number of private offices and clinics bearing the names of their founders. Today about 40% of patients choose the doctor by their own, and 60% of patients prefer visit on the recommendation. Most patients don’t want to tell about their health problems to their family, friends and colleagues, so they are looking for information on the Internet.

Information about the doctors on the Internet is useful, but it is difficult to find needed specialist, because information scattered across different sites, contains untrue data and mixed reviews, specialty physician is not supported by documents. Often the information is not updated, that complicates the search. Advertising of some sites makes another, which are really needed for the patient, inaccessible.

Modern information technologies can help the patient to find full information about doctors. In order to make it possible specialized medical portals, which provide information about doctors in a single format, have a single standard rating doctors are constantly checking and updating the information are created.

Patients will have an opportunity to find a good doctor, choose a convenient time and make an appointment. In addition, doctors can answer patients' questions, receive feedback on the quality of service through the portal and as a result improve their work.

Such portal is useful to all medical institutions, without exception, as they can with a smaller marketing budget more effectively promote information about the main asset of a medical institution - a good doctor.
