Analysts of company "Farm-ROST" analyzed pharmacy sales of the 2011-2013 and made a forecast for 2014.

"In the structure of sales of medicines imports amounted 66.5% in 2013. While the share of imports in the past year decreased by 1.5%. Prerequisites for a high rate of import substitution in 2014 do not exist. Thus, the growth of the average bill will have a significant impact of the imports price of drugs"- commented Igor Vovkodav, head of company "Farm-ROST".

Experts of the company say about the increase of the average annual bill of pharmacy sales of medicines in Ukraine up to 790 UAH. (+17 ÷ 20%) in 2014.

The forecast is based on an analysis of pharmacy sales of 2011 - 2013 years as well as the forecast of inflation in Ukraine 3% and the average annual rate of 8.5 UAH. / $ in 2014.
